This one started with a photo my wife took of Hatfield Center from the back of our property, looking across the fields. I did the preliminary paint sketch and, although a lot of the details were left out, I liked the result. I hung it for a week on the wall outside my office and let my mind percolate on it, and then went back and added a lot of detail which was meant to enhance the vision I had formed, which was by now far, far away, in another place. And here we are.
9x12 acrylic painting on canvas board.
